AIRLESS DRYING FOR TABLEWARE and WHITEWARES.
CDS has developed and successfully introduced, the worldwide patented, AIRLESS DRYING system within the tableware and associated industries.
The dryer may be used for all varieties of flatware, holloware, castware, pressure cast and ram pressed productions.
The Airless Drying System is designed for both mould release and whitehard drying. For mould release, the leatherhard dryer is designed to process 3,500-5,000 items per shift, requiring only 70 -80 moulds, compared to more than 250 moulds in a ‘conventional' dryer.
The Airless Dryer is designed to operate at speeds of between 8-16 pieces per minute with associated drying speeds of 3-5 minutes depending on the mould size, shape and body type.
Whitehard drying from Leatherhard is achieved in cycle times of 5-8 minutes, drying down to below 2% moisture content.
